Job Summary

Own the equipment portion of HVAC projects by validating equipment selection, configurations, voltage/options, and related submittal processes. Evaluate cost savings and cost risks, support sales with preliminary and final submittals, and run job cost consensus and submittal release. Prepare equipment for order entry, verify pricing, reconcile job costs, and provide post-order technical support for installation, start-up, warranty, and controls equipment.

Key Responsibilities

•Optimize/validate HVAC equipment selection including size, configuration, voltage, and options by reviewing plans, specifications, estimates, and proposals.
•Evaluate cost savings opportunities and identify potential cost problems across projects.
•Validate project scope by reviewing transition documents, plans and specs; plan EQ/VPP dollar breaks; and validate quantities and configurations.
•Support sales by developing preliminary and/or final submittals, holding job cost consensus meetings, releasing submittals, and making necessary changes.
•Prepare equipment for order entry by verifying pricing, revising coordination worksheets, reconciling job costs, and providing post-order technical support for installation, start-up, warranty, and controls equipment.

Key Requirements

•Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields, with minimum two (2) years of HVAC industry experience in project management or estimating roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; or minimum five (5) years of HVAC industry experience in project management or estimating roles.
•Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls.
•Advanced level of English.
•Experience using selection and estimation software.
•Perform project management or estimating work within HVAC industry.
