Key Responsibilities

  • •Spend roughly 70% designing, building, and iterating on agentic tooling, including orchestration, tool-use, context management, and evaluation harnesses.
  • •Build and refine the verification layer that gates what agents are allowed to ship, including automated test generation, regression detection, static analysis, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
  • •Spend roughly 30% hands-on in the Java/Spring codebase by reviewing agent-generated pull requests, fixing issues, and feeding learnings back into the tooling.
  • •Partner with Server, Cloud Platform, and value-stream squads to migrate domains and earn trust and buy-in.
  • •Contribute to Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and standards, and track/evaluate emerging agent frameworks and techniques.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience building or operating multi-agent or LLM-agent systems in a real production setting, including orchestration and guardrails.
  • •Experience building evaluation or verification systems for AI-generated changes (automated testing, static analysis, regression detection, or comparable safety nets).
  • •Strong software engineering fundamentals in Java and Spring (or a comparable JVM/enterprise stack) to critically read a large codebase.
  • •Ability to own complex, ambiguous technical problems independently and drive them to resolution.
  • •Experience influencing engineers and squads you don’t manage to enable migrations through trust and buy-in.
