Key Responsibilities

•Lead Flying Qualities Flight Test planning and execution to achieve certification of X-BAT.
•Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate sensor locations, system architecture and calibration algorithms.
•Develop and maintain tools for flying qualities analysis, plotting and simulation.
•Champion aero model validation by creating flight test aids and updating aerodynamic models from flight data.
•Support wind tunnel testing and integrate results into the 6DOF aerodynamic database.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 170,000 - 250,000 annually

Equity and Bonus:Equity

Key Requirements

•B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
•15+ years of experience in Stability & Control, with flying qualities analysis, flight test planning/execution and requirements compliance.
•Extensive experience with all phases of flight test including planning, cross-discipline integration, control room procedures, execution and final certification.
•Ability to develop customized tools that can be used for flying qualities analysis, plotting and simulation.
•A demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, and maintaining high standards while collaborating with others.
