Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform setup and prove-in of complex precision production hardware and pre-production engineering hardware using UPMF.
  • •Produce parts from standard to exotic materials using CNC and conventional machines.
  • •Determine machine and tooling adequacy and efficiency to fabricate parts to defined specifications.
  • •Troubleshoot programs, tooling, and machines.
  • •Apply GD&T and SIE to maintain conformance to part tolerances and provide show floor assistance to production machine operators.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of three (3) years performing the set up and operation of CNC machinery.
  • •Experience operating CNC machinery (mills and lathes) for production setups and troubleshooting.
  • •Experience applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) with blueprint reading.
  • •Experience using inspection equipment including ID/OD micrometers, dial calipers, indicators, mobile inspection station, thread gauges, plug gauges, air gauges, and optical comparator.
  • •Must be able to work any designated shift, pass qualifying/practical tests, and obtain and maintain ATF clearance.
