Structural Analysis Engineer II

Perform stress and vibration analysis for gas turbine components across turbojet and turbofan development programs. Design and optimize gas turbine systems for life, weight, manufacturability, and cost, and run thermo-mechanical simulations at design and off-design conditions. Conduct creep, fatigue, fracture, vibration, rotodynamic, and FMECA assessments to ensure safety and operability. Review designs and simulations, generate testing guidelines, identify risks, and support/develop junior engineers.
