Job Summary

Join the Programme Integration team within Programme Advisory to support major nationally significant infrastructure projects across pre- and post-consent stages. You’ll lead consents leadership and management, consent production and delivery, and environment impact assessment and stakeholder engagement. Partner with clients to manage relationships, identify business development opportunities, and contribute to bid proposals. You will also help develop programme integration products and mentor or line manage junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

•Work as part of an integrated project team to deliver client deliverables for nationally significant infrastructure projects across pre-/post-consent lifecycle stages.
•Provide consents leadership and management (pre- and post-consent), including consent production and delivery, environment impact assessments, consultation/stakeholder engagement, and procedural strategic advisory/assurance.
•Manage client relationships and identify and realise business development opportunities.
•Lead or contribute to preparation of bid proposals and managing key bids.
•Mentor and/or manage members of the Programme Advisory team, including line managing junior staff where applicable.

Key Requirements

•BSc/MSc in an appropriate degree.
•Excellent knowledge and practical experience of the consents process lifecycle from pre- to post-consent.
•Technical understanding of consents strategy and consenting routes, including DCO, TWAO, and Hybrid Bill.
•Technical understanding of discharging primary and secondary consents and post-consent deliverables, including consent production and delivery and environment impact assessments.
•Experience coordinating approvals and notifications between interested parties and managing consent management plans/strategies, ideally with stakeholder liaison in large organisations.
