Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent NI’s software credibly across customer and developer communities, building trusted relationships that drive advocacy and participation.
  • •Engage directly with customers and engineers through technical meetings, site visits, workshops, user groups, conferences, and industry events.
  • •Communicate NI software strategy, technical direction, roadmap, and key messages to highly technical audiences.
  • •Develop and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, prototypes, examples, and other hands-on content that makes the strategy tangible.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Product, Marketing, Sales, and others to align community engagement with broader software strategy and surface community insights internally.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant professional software engineering experience, including designing, developing, or architecting complex software systems.
  • •Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices, development workflows, and software architecture.
  • •Strong familiarity with AI-assisted development, CI/CD, DevOps, automation, containers, APIs, and open-source software.
  • •Ability to rapidly build deep technical knowledge of NI software, its architecture, and engineering workflows.
  • •Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills for highly technical audiences, including experience presenting complex topics.
