Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production schedules to ensure timely delivery of compounded products, monitoring progress and correcting bottlenecks.
  • •Lead and supervise a team of lab managers, pharmacy tech leads, and pharmacy technicians through direction, meetings, and 1:1 performance feedback.
  • •Continuously evaluate compounding processes and implement Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and other continuous improvement methods to improve productivity and reduce waste.
  • •Monitor and report KPIs related to safety, quality, and productivity; identify trends and progress.
  • •Ensure compounding activities comply with USP, FDA, OSHA, and other relevant regulations, including training, safety audits, and enforcement of safety protocols.

Key Requirements

  • •5-7+ years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical compounding, manufacturing, fulfillment, or a related operational environment.
  • •5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced, regulated setting.
  • •2+ years of experience implementing and maintaining OSHA safety standards.
  • •Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and operational reporting tools; strong knowledge of USP 795, USP 800, cGMP, OSHA, and FDA regulations.
  • •Technician certified within 8 months of start date; experience with sterile and non-sterile compounding is highly desirable.
