Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the architecture, design, and implementation of autonomous applications on Qualcomm-based platforms, covering perception, sensor fusion, planning, and navigation.
  • •Define technical direction for ROS2-based nodes and middleware frameworks to support scalable, modular autonomy stacks across heterogeneous compute platforms.
  • •Drive secure platform bring-up and troubleshooting across boot, encryption, provisioning, OTA updates, and manufacturing test workflows.
  • •Implement secure communication bridges between the autonomy stack, flight controller, and ground systems, and develop tools/APIs for mission-critical data exchange.
  • •Architect and enforce end-to-end security frameworks for UxV platforms (secure boot, hardware root of trust, chain-of-trust provisioning), including threat modeling and secure coding practices.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years developing robotics, autonomous systems, or safety-critical UxV platforms, ideally in defense or aerospace.
  • •Proficiency in real-time embedded systems and Python for automation, AI/ML workflows, testing, and data pipelines.
  • •Strong experience with ROS2, XRCE-DDS, MAVLink, and modular autonomy stack architecture on Qualcomm-based mission computer platforms.
  • •Hands-on experience with Qualcomm SoC platform bring-up (BSP integration, Linux/Yocto, boot chain validation, debugging).
  • •Expertise with Qualcomm security features and production secure workflows (secure boot, root of trust, fuse burning, identity, secure provisioning, and manufacturing test procedures).
