Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect and diagnose vehicles to identify repair needs.
  • •Repair and recondition vehicles to CarMax quality and safety standards across engine, brakes, steering, suspension, and related systems.
  • •Collaborate with a skilled team to solve technical challenges quickly and effectively.
  • •Gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • •Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 49.88 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with engine repair and key systems including steering/suspension, brakes, and HVAC (based on the needs of the role).
  • •Maintain health and safety compliance and follow Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements.
  • •Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • •Strong communication skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Valid driver’s license and (where required by State/Local law) maintain ASE Certifications in the listed areas (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8).
