Job Summary

Deliver evidence-based, one-on-one physical therapy to military personnel within the Air Force Human Performance Optimization (AF HPO) program. Evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, create individualized rehabilitation plans, and provide injury-prevention and performance-optimization training. Maintain compliant documentation and privacy standards, educate service members and leadership, and collaborate with physicians and strength & conditioning specialists to support readiness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Assess and diagnose musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions and develop individualized rehabilitation plans to restore function and readiness.
•Deliver evidence-based physical therapy treatments, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training.
•Design and deliver injury prevention and performance optimization programs for strength, mobility, and mission physical readiness.
•Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with military regulations, clinical standards, and privacy requirements.
•Educate service members and leadership and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to support holistic, mission-focused care.

Salary: USD 77,785 - 124,455 annually

•Current, active, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in a U.S. state/territory or the District of Columbia.
•2+ years of post-licensure experience as a Physical Therapist in a high-performance environment.
•Meet and maintain Military Treatment Facility (MTF) credentialing and privileging requirements.
•Experience designing and implementing physical therapy programs and treatment plans for individuals and groups.
