Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain accurate pharmacy inventory by performing physical inventory moves, documenting moves, and removing and documenting outdated drugs.
  • •Oversee pharmacy automation inventories and supervise all return-to-stock (RTS) processes.
  • •Organize drug disposal and return medication packages in accordance with Stericycle and state board regulations.
  • •Develop and implement pharmacy automation and inventory management training programs for technicians and staff.
  • •Follow state and federal pharmacy regulations and maintain security/privacy rules for PHI in compliance with HIPAA.

Key Requirements

  • •18 years of age with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • •Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician License (EXCPT or PTCB) and active Certified Pharmacy Technician registration with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy.
  • •1+ years of experience with Parata MAX machines.
  • •Effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations related to pharmacy practice.
  • •Ability to work flexible shift times and strong attention to detail.
