Key Responsibilities

  • •Pre-plan upcoming events as necessary.
  • •Attend and participate in planning and organizing event meetings to gather event details.
  • •Plan, execute, and coordinate event logistics with on-campus departments (facilities, janitorial, food services) including venue set up, supplies, catering, and special needs accommodations.
  • •Ensure student worker staffing is scheduled for all phases of the event and assist with scheduling as needed.
  • •Monitor event activities, ensure requirements are met and the client is satisfied, and handle clean-up/reset.

Key Requirements

  • •1 year experience in a similar or related capacity including an overnight camp environment, youth camp, event planning, or promotions.
  • •Bachelor’s degree preferred in a discipline related to communications, marketing, promotions, or similar programs.
  • •Proficient with MS Office Suite software.
  • •Good planning and organizing skills with strong communications and problem-solving skills.
  • •Flexibility with schedules including evenings, holidays, weekends, and willingness to stay overnight on campus during certain events.
