Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the development of the process, procedures and policies for the Contracting Entity’s cost control standards, ensuring those standards take account of industry standards and any contractual terms and conditions.
  • •Preparing cost estimates for piping installation (materials, labour, equipment).
  • •Develop and maintain the processes, systems and administrative procedures necessary to support the timely and accurate dissemination of cost reports.
  • •Foster relationships with the supply chain and wider industry including contractors, consultants, suppliers and professional bodies.
  • •Provide advice and expertise in relation to claims and disputes that may arise on construction and consultancy contracts.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years’ experience in a QS/Cost Management role within the Infrastructure/Utilities/Oil & Gas sector.
  • •Must have a technical understanding of piping works.
  • •Must have a clear understanding of, and ability to work with, construction contract commercial documents, drawings and specifications.
  • •Strong experience of delivering technically complex and high value projects.
  • •Experience of working in a comparable consultancy environment, or with a client or contractor organisation.
