Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design, development, and integration of advanced resilient networking software systems and architectures.
•Lead small teams of multi-functional engineers (4-6) across design, build, test, and demonstration activities.
•Architect and drive execution across the full software lifecycle, from concept and modeling through implementation, integration, field demo, and program transition.
•Frame mission problems into testable technical objectives, design and run experiments, and analyze results to iterate on concepts and implementations.
•Evaluate networking technologies (e.g., MANET protocols, secure routing, adaptive mesh architectures) and contribute to proposals, white papers, and technical briefings.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.
•At least 5+ years of embedded software development with C, C++, Rust, Python, and Bash, plus experience with Make/CMake/SCons and Git/SVN.
•Background in embedded Linux, networked applications, networking stack implementation, or BSP development.
•Strong networking knowledge (IPv4/IPv6, routing, multicast, NAT, TCP/UDP) including technologies such as OLSR, OSPF, PIM, IPSec, VPN, QoS, and ACLs, with experience defining system-level requirements and scalable architectures.
