•Define and execute global hardware engineering strategy and platform aligned to business objectives, overseeing projects from concept through delivery with lean ways of working.
•Act as technical authority for mechanical, electrical, and automation hardware standards, ensuring compliance with CE, UL, and ISO and driving validation best practices.
•Lead innovation and digital transformation by championing AI-driven tools for CAD automation, BOM validation, and risk analysis, and embedding learnings into global libraries and standards.
•Manage budgets and optimize resource allocation, supporting bid approvals and feasibility assessments to enable sound business decisions.
•Monitor and improve performance using KPIs (e.g., standards compliance, reuse rates, first-pass yield) and drive hiring, mentoring, retention, and continuous improvement initiatives.
