Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and develop the virtual CPU and memory aspects of the virtual machine platform used to run guest operating systems.
  • •Design and deliver virtualization monitor features that support new processors or enhancements to the virtual machine monitor architecture.
  • •Contribute to implementation of CPU instruction set updates in a virtualization context.
  • •Work on memory virtualization/management features as part of monitor modernization efforts.
  • •For more senior roles, help define the design roadmap and lead technical efforts driving other engineers.
