Job Summary

Conduct research and investigations to develop HP Indigo’s future printing platforms. Own printing-process development for next-generation Indigo engines, optimize physical process parameters and materials, and design experiments to analyze results and share findings with both technical and management stakeholders. Translate marketing needs into engineering requirements and build quantitative measurement methodologies and physical models to characterize system behavior and key parameters.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and shape HP Indigo’s future platforms through research and investigation in variant fields.
•Drive printing process development for tomorrow’s HP Indigo engines to meet print quality and cost targets.
•Study and optimize physical process parameters and materials to achieve best-in-class print quality.
•Design, perform, analyze, and summarize multidisciplinary experiments; share findings with technical stakeholders and management.
•Convert marketing requirements into engineering requirements and develop quantitative measurement methodologies and physical models.

Key Requirements

•M.Sc. in physics (preferred) or equivalent engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials), or B.Sc. with over 3 years of experimental R&D work experience.
•Experience with data analysis using Python or Matlab.
•Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
•Strong organization and independence, with a can-do attitude.
•Experience and/or interest in experimental research (including PhD or experimentalist background as differentiators).
