Job Summary

Lead mechanical engineering for complex vertical building projects, providing senior technical direction across planning, design, and construction administration for healthcare, commercial, higher education, science & technology, and mission-critical sectors. Establish mechanical design strategies and engineer-of-record reviews, lead multidisciplinary coordination, and champion QA/QC, compliance, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation. Serve as a trusted client advisor, support pursuits, and mentor engineering teams to enable sustainable delivery and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide senior-level technical leadership for planning, design, and construction administration of mechanical systems for vertical construction projects.
•Establish mechanical design strategies, design narratives, and system selection aligned with client goals and lifecycle cost considerations.
•Serve as Engineer of Record or senior technical reviewer; ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
•Lead multidisciplinary coordination and resolve complex technical and constructability challenges.
•Oversee QA/QC, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and technical risk mitigation; support pursuits and mentor project teams.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
•10–15+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience in building systems design.
•Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
•Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
•Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
