Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a motorgrader on road construction projects.
  • •Perform routine tasks such as oiling, greasing, servicing, and making normal operating adjustments.
  • •Apply knowledge of road construction practices including grades, drainage, paving patterns, specifications, oil consistency, and compaction.
  • •Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major issues to the supervisor.
  • •Complete other related tasks such as shovel work, setting string line, and layout.

Key Requirements

  • •Prior experience operating a motorgrader on road construction projects.
  • •Prior experience operating construction equipment.
  • •Strong understanding of road construction aspects such as preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, and aggregate size.
  • •Ability to learn the equipment’s efficient working condition and perform minor servicing/operating adjustments.
  • •Willingness to support related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, and layout.
