Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
  • •Implement prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
  • •Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior and support functional assessments and behavior support plans.
  • •Communicate with teachers, parents, family members, and caregivers regarding progress as instructed by the BCBA.
  • •Maintain safe, clean, and confidential therapy environments; collaborate with the treatment team and assist with lead behavioral technician responsibilities when absent.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • •BCBA or BCaBA (or equivalent) certification is often preferred.
  • •Existing or qualified for DOH Licensing as ABA.
  • •Minimum 2 years of experience post qualification in a related field.
  • •Provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in home, community, and school settings.
