Job Summary

Join the Europe Finance team to support statutory reporting and compliance across multiple European markets. You’ll assist with tax, VAT, treasury, audit support, and governance, while contributing to finance transformation and systems projects. Working closely with regional leadership, local office teams, Corporate Finance, and external advisers, you’ll help improve processes, controls, and automation—ensuring accurate month-end close, forecasting, and timely deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

•Support statutory reporting requirements across Europe, liaising with local external accounting advisers and coordinating audit deliverables and statutory filings.
•Assist with tax, VAT and treasury activities, including VAT reporting and e-invoicing initiatives, liquidity management, and cashflow/cash management analysis.
•Support regional audit planning and delivery by preparing audit information, coordinating with local teams and advisers, and tracking open items and deadlines.
•Contribute to finance transformation and systems projects, including automation opportunities and improved use of technology, managing European contributions and follow-through.
•Review financial accounting processes and controls to simplify, standardise, automate, or strengthen ways of working; support documentation, communication, and training for changes.

Key Requirements

•ACA or ACCA qualified accountant, ideally recently qualified with two to three years’ post-qualification experience.
•Strong grounding in financial accounting, audit, internal controls, and statutory reporting, including applying technical accounting across multiple jurisdictions.
•Ability to analyze and interpret differences between local GAAPs and US GAAP and work effectively with external advisers.
•Strong analytical skills to interpret financial information, understand process flows, identify issues, and recommend practical improvements.
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort using Microsoft business applications; ERP experience is desirable.
