Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive new business development across India by identifying, prospecting, and engaging potential customers in the commodities industry.
  • •Build and manage a pipeline from initial prospecting and meetings through commercial discussions and close.
  • •Develop and grow existing customer relationships, identifying opportunities to expand Kpler’s footprint.
  • •Support commercial discussions including pricing and commercial terms, and coordinate contract negotiation and execution with the authorized contracting and internal Legal teams.
  • •Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and opportunity information throughout the sales cycle, and coordinate follow-ups on contracts and invoicing.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience in commercial roles with a proven track record in new business development and/or account management.
  • •Strong experience working in the commodities industry, including understanding key players and commercial dynamics.
  • •An established network across the Indian commodities market with the ability to build relationships with relevant customers and decision-makers.
  • •Proven ability to generate pipeline, develop opportunities, and convert prospects into long-term customer relationships.
  • •Comfort with the full commercial process including customer engagement, CRM management, forecasting, contracts, invoicing, and related activities.
