Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess patients prior to cardiac and vascular procedures, verifying patient identity, consent, procedure, and medical history.
  • •Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as coronary angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and device insertions.
  • •Monitor patient hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and level of consciousness throughout procedures.
  • •Administer medications and moderate sedation as per protocol and physician orders.
  • •Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict aseptic techniques.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor Degree in Nursing; or Associate degree in Nursing from Canada or USA with minimum two (2) years course duration and Successful completion of the National exam: USA: NCLEX - RN; Canada: Licensing Exam
  • •DOH License or Eligibility
  • •Minimum two (2) years clinical experience post qualification
  • •Excellent clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
  • •Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiovascular lab environment
