Job Summary

Lead Engineer focusing on control & instrumentation for Honeywell’s Lognes site, coordinating discipline engineers, sourcing and subcontractors to deliver projects on contract specifications and codes. Plans engineering tasks, liaises between Project Manager and engineers, and ensures on-time delivery, quality, safety, and first-time-right outcomes across multiple medium-scale projects in the gas/process industries.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the engineering of projects, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications and applicable codes & standards.
•Provide tasking direction to discipline engineers, sourcing and subcontractors to secure on-time delivery and first-time-right results.
•Plan engineering tasks and coordinate collaboration within the project engineering team; act as the primary link between Project Manager and discipline engineers for design documentation.
•Manage the technical workforce, ensuring compliance with standards and QMS, with a strong focus on on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
•Ensure in-depth understanding of international and French codes & standards, project compliance, safety culture, and translate lessons learned into best practices.

Key Requirements

•BS or BA degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronic / or equivalent
•Min 5 years’ experience in similar role in process control industry
•Strong knowledge in primary measuring instruments (Flow meters) and secondary measuring instruments (PT, TT), Flow Computer (FC), Gas Chromatograph (GC), PLC, SCADA, Flow & Energy Calculation (AGA, ISO standards)
•In-depth knowledge of flow measurement and regulating of gases
•Conversant with the applicable French codes and standards and preferably GrdF experience
