Key Responsibilities

  • •Tray eggs from farm racks into incubator racks and load incubators according to set schedules.
  • •Transfer eggs from incubators to hatchers as part of the transfer team.
  • •Clean and disinfect incubators, hatchers, egg room, processing rooms, and hatchery equipment.
  • •Monitor equipment to assist with trouble-shooting and preventative maintenance.
  • •Learn and back up all chick processing and transfer team positions, including rotating weekend on-call, and assist in training and vaccine mixing/dispensing.

Salary: USD 21.22 hourly

  • •Ability to work in positions requiring data collection and entry.
  • •Ability to push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 1,000 pounds.
  • •Must have or be willing to obtain a valid PIT license (pallet jack and scissor lift).
  • •Ability to work in wet, dusty, loud conditions and varying hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • •Good communication and organizational skills, with good math and computer skills and the ability to work independently.
