Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with customers to resolve failures related to RAS, PCIe, memory, MCA, CXL, and micro-controller issues.
  • •Collaborate with AMD global teams to identify best solutions for customer problems.
  • •Provide validation and debug recommendations to customers for validation, new features, and debug-related questions.
  • •Utilize debug tools (e.g., debug scripts, protocol analyzers, SCAN and JTAG tools) to narrow down and root-cause customer failures.
  • •Debug issues across bring-up, validation, and production phases, engaging with other software/hardware/design teams and leading cross-team task forces.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of total experience in one or more areas including RAS validation/debug or PCIe/CXL functional/protocol debug, memory validation/debug, or MCA/MCE validation/debug.
  • •Experience with post-silicon validation methodologies.
  • •Experience developing programming scripts, such as Python scripts.
  • •Programming/scripting skills including Python, C++, Perl, or Ruby.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering.
