Job Summary

Own the hardware lifecycle for the Starlink Gateway TWTA amplifier, from urgent troubleshooting and hands-on testing to root-cause investigations and design/manufacturing upgrades. Partner with manufacturing, suppliers, and internal teams to develop and scale rapid, reliable, low-cost processes, manage new product introduction, and implement process improvements to improve rate and reliability. Validate performance through environmental testing and provide design feedback to improve manufacturability, cost, and reliability.

•Troubleshoot TWTA hardware, perform hands-on testing, and support development or root-cause investigations.
•Design factory/processes for rapid, reliable, low-cost manufacturing of vacuum technology.
•Develop novel manufacturing procedures and production processes for TWTA assemblies.
•Partner with manufacturers and suppliers to implement process improvements that increase reliability.
•Run environmental and performance testing to validate analysis and demonstrate compliance to design criteria.
