Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive supplier quality development throughout product development, including design reviews, supplier process development, testing, and qualification for cables and wire harness components
  • •Collaborate with development/manufacturing engineering to design, develop, qualify, and implement functional tests at suppliers for unique harnesses
  • •Coordinate with engineering, quality, category management and program management to ensure predictable supply and manage deviations, establishing measurement systems and supplier qualification activities (PPAP, FAIR, audits)
  • •Work with Supply Chain to improve supplier performance in cost, quality, and delivery to meet strategic goals
  • •Eliminate supplier risk and drive quality and reliability across the product lifecycle through audits, readiness reviews, and documentation

Salary: 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • •7-10 years of Supplier Quality Engineering or onsite Quality Engineering experience in Wire Harness production
  • •3+ years of experience performing source inspection in wire harness manufacturing
  • •Experience flowing down Source Control requirements to suppliers and implementing Control Plans in Wire Harness manufacturing
  • •Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems, IPC 620 certification, and First Article Inspection to AS9102
