Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate machines to grind, extract, mix, blend, dry, freeze, cook or otherwise process food or beverage products
  • •Assist and guide a team of helpers to ensure production runs are completed on time, in full, while maintaining quality standards
  • •Perform pre and post inspection of packaging equipment and machine calibration using relevant procedures
  • •Accurately set up equipment and ensure proper and safe operation
  • •Complete required documentation and run production reports

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary Education in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience
  • •Knowledge of ProSeal (GTE/GTR) and Loma Metal Detectors is an asset
  • •Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience operating machinery in a food processing, manufacturing or service industry
  • •Familiarity with MHE operation (e.g., walkie, forklift, stacker, reach, etc.) is a plus
  • •Able to stand for prolonged periods and work in a refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C)
