Job Summary

Provide remote K–12 school counseling for Indiana Digital Learning School, using a comprehensive counseling program to support students’ academic success, social-emotional development, and career/college planning. Meet regularly with assigned caseload to review graduation plans, review transcripts, and support four-year graduation planning with teaching staff. Deliver instruction aligned to student success standards, analyze student data for intervention plans, and provide short-term counseling and referrals, with occasional travel for development and testing.

Key Responsibilities

•Promote student success through a comprehensive remote school counseling program across academic, social-emotional, and career/college readiness.
•Meet quarterly with assigned students to review graduation plans and post-secondary options, and support goal setting and academic planning.
•Review transcripts and academic documentation for new and returning students, and help develop and audit four-year graduation plans collaboratively with teaching staff.
•Assist with course placement and recommendations, including Advanced Placement (AP), and develop data-driven intervention action plans based on student data.
•Provide short-term counseling and referrals for long-term support, support standardized testing and parent education, and advocate for students in IEP meetings as needed.

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 50,000 - 55,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience in counseling and/or advisement
•School Counselor License
•Ability to clear required background check
•Master’s degree in school counseling
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, web-based search engines, and database systems
