Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and operate services behind the managed logs product, including ingestion endpoints, query APIs, retention and access controls, and customer onboarding/configuration workflows.
•Build self-service, low-touch experiences by creating APIs, defaults, and guardrails that let customers get value quickly and safely.
•Design scalable, durable, and reliable services while handling multi-tenancy, quotas/limits, cost visibility, and predictable behavior under heavy load.
•Collaborate with product, cloud support, and site reliability teams to address where customers get stuck and translate feedback into roadmap and shipped improvements.
•Participate in a customer-facing on-call rotation and improve alerting quality, runbooks, and automation to keep the product easier to operate as it grows.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 210,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of software development experience, including programming with modern compiled languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
•Proven ability to design and scale fault-tolerant distributed systems and managed cloud services customers rely on directly.
•Experience with observability data and technologies (e.g., log aggregation, time-series databases, distributed tracing), with familiarity with Loki, VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry as a plus.
•Experience owning a customer-facing service or product surface end to end, including API design, rollout, and iteration based on customer feedback.
•Strong fundamentals in microservices and infrastructure technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD systems.
