Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide expert and objective advice to Senior Management to support effective decision-making on a diverse range of financial, governance and commercial matters impacting Affiliates
  • •Deliver informative briefings to senior management to support decision making on upcoming Affiliate Board meetings as well as ad-hoc projects and ensure compliance with Group governance
  • •Review board materials for Affiliates, coordinate input from all stakeholders, and prepare insightful commentary and analysis for board members
  • •Review and coordinate the preparation of impairment analysis for broad range of investments prepared by Business Lines
  • •Review Purchase Price Allocations (PPA) of new acquisitions and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, and a professional certification such as a CPA, CA, or CFA; MBA preferred but not required.
  • •A Minimum 10–15 years of experience in financial reporting, IFRS, management advisory, decision support, taxation, financial analysis, financial modeling, business development, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, internal controls, and cash management & financing.
  • •Experience with the Big 4 firms is preferred.
  • •Strong/Effective oral and written communication skills to deliver briefings to senior management.
  • •IFRS accounting standards and policies; ability to manage and analyze financial information for decision support.
