Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the primary on-site contact and Incident Commander during environmental, health, and safety emergencies; provide first responder support within training scope and coordinate communications.
  • •Lead day-to-day facility operations by monitoring performance trends and ensuring timely resolution of operational issues with relevant teams.
  • •Oversee emergency maintenance activities, allocating resources appropriately and responding quickly to minimize downtime.
  • •Identify, communicate, and support manufacturing process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • •Partner with Operations, EHS, and Engineering to align with business goals, support capital projects and training, and drive operational excellence through committees and project teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or at least 3 years of manufacturing experience with direct leadership of operational teams.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with additional operational or data analysis software is a plus.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills to lead meetings, present shift reports, and draft/review SOPs clearly.
  • •Ability to make timely decisions in fast-paced environments, even with limited data.
  • •Strong analytical, continuous improvement, and collaborative mindset to support operational excellence.
