Lead and coordinate complex incident-response activities within Allianz’s Cyber Defense Center, guiding cross-functional teams across global environments. Analyze data from diverse sources, drive improvements to guidelines and playbooks, contribute to internal tooling and automation, and advance detection and defense capabilities. Participate in 24/7 readiness and collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, and external partners to secure Allianz infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate and own incident-response activities in a heterogeneous, multicultural, and geographically distributed environment, engaging all relevant stakeholders through all phases of an incident.
•Collect and analyze data from multiple sources during IR activities and report clear, actionable results.
•Conduct incident reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and support implementation, including updating guidelines, runbooks, and internal processes.
•Contribute to the evolution of the internal ACDC toolset by proposing new features and by developing automation scripts and tooling.
•Analyze complex attack patterns and threat actors, derive technical insights, and provide recommendations to improve Allianz’s detection and defense capabilities.

•Extensive incident response experience with the ability to lead complex IR activities in a multinational, distributed environment.
•Strong technical knowledge of system architecture and IT security technologies: Linux and Windows, Active Directory / Entra ID, web technologies, email, networks, cryptography, and common DevOps tools.
•Software engineering and scripting skills: Python, Golang, shell scripting, PowerShell, CI/CD, and database management.
•Analytical thinker with excellent communication skills in English; ability to structure and convey complex findings clearly.
