Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and own incident-response activities in a heterogeneous, multicultural, and geographically distributed environment, engaging all relevant stakeholders through all phases of an incident.
  • •Collect and analyze data from multiple sources during IR activities and report clear, actionable results.
  • •Conduct incident reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and support implementation, including updating guidelines, runbooks, and internal processes.
  • •Contribute to the evolution of the internal ACDC toolset by proposing new features and by developing automation scripts and tooling.
  • •Analyze complex attack patterns and threat actors, derive technical insights, and provide recommendations to improve Allianz’s detection and defense capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive incident response experience with the ability to lead complex IR activities in a multinational, distributed environment.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of system architecture and IT security technologies: Linux and Windows, Active Directory / Entra ID, web technologies, email, networks, cryptography, and common DevOps tools.
  • •Software engineering and scripting skills: Python, Golang, shell scripting, PowerShell, CI/CD, and database management.
  • •Analytical thinker with excellent communication skills in English; ability to structure and convey complex findings clearly.
  • •Willingness to participate in on-call duties and 24/7 availability.
