Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the development and application of advanced data analytics to identify key financial performance drivers across Finance, Actuarial and Investment and deliver actionable Board reporting insights.
  • •Automate and optimize data preparation, reporting and reconciliation processes using Alteryx, AI-enabled solutions and AI-assisted coding, improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
  • •Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations, transitioning manual Excel/PowerPoint reporting to automated, user-friendly solutions.
  • •Establish and maintain controls, testing frameworks and QA processes to ensure accuracy, reliability and integrity of data, models and reporting while meeting governance and regulatory requirements.
  • •Standardise financial models, assumptions, methodologies, data structures and reporting practices across Finance, Actuarial and Investment teams and monitor/mitigate related model and data risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Finance, Actuarial Studies and/or Accounting (e.g., CA/CPA or Fellow of the Actuaries Institute, or similar).
  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting processes and financial reporting in a complex, dynamic environment.
  • •Proficiency in Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
  • •Strong skills in process automation tools such as Alteryx.
  • •Experience with AI for analytics and coding using Python.
