Key Responsibilities

•Monitor Metro network circuits and performance for trouble events using network monitoring tools.
•Respond to client trouble reports via email and phone, create trouble and dispatch tickets, and manage/escalate tickets per procedures.
•Troubleshoot high-level physical layer circuit issues and maintain knowledge of circuit degradation (utilization, bandwidth, latency).
•Apply approved AI and automation tools within monitoring, ticket handling, troubleshooting, and documentation workflows to reduce repetitive work.
•Serve as a mentor and lead training for less experienced teammates, including internal escalations and follow-up.

•Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, Networking, or related technical/vocational education (or equivalent work experience).

•Experience with Alcatel, Juniper, and/or Overture routers and switches, including command-line interface.
•Understanding of the OSI Networking model (physical, data link, network layers) and experience working complex IP issues.
