Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct field assessments, monitoring programs, and documentation to ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, construction and environmental regulations.
  • •Perform building surveys for hazardous materials and designated substances (asbestos, lead, mould) and safely collect samples from building materials.
  • •Provide on-site inspection and oversight during hazardous materials remediation projects, including contractor monitoring and air sampling.
  • •Carry out occupational exposure assessments for chemical, biological and physical hazards across various workplace settings.
  • •Carry out indoor air quality and potable/drinking water investigations, documenting conditions and contributing to practical recommendations.
Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 57,500 - 76,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •College diploma or university degree in occupational hygiene, environmental science, environmental engineering, or closely related discipline.
  • •Consulting experience or equivalent education/knowledge in occupational hygiene, environmental science, construction or related fields.
