Support the sales organization for enterprise customers across the full pre-sales to post-sales cycle. Lead technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, participate in POCs with internal and customer teams, and serve as the primary technical point of contact. Build solutions that outperform competitors by translating security and networking requirements into customer-ready plans, while maintaining accurate technical CRM records in Salesforce. Continuously deepen Fortinet product expertise and competitive awareness.

Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle for enterprise customers, from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including project management and participation in POCs.
•Understand customer technical requirements and translate them into solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
•Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with the sales partner.
•Present and position Fortinet solutions to customers remotely or in person using whiteboarding, technical white papers, and technical plans.
•Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce) for customer and prospect activity, contacts, and technical account information.

Key Requirements

•High aptitude for security technology, including encryption and authentication, with desirable knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, and switching.
•Experience (current or prior) in a pre-sales engineer role owning end-to-end technical deal activities through technical closure.
•Demonstrated problem-solving skills with measurable impact on key wins.
•Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
•Strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
