Key Responsibilities

  • •Engineer and check out modular product controls on the line, including PLCs, BMS integration, sensors, and I/O from panel to termination.
  • •Live on the Phoenix manufacturing line to catch wiring and I/O issues on the spot and disposition them immediately.
  • •Run point-to-point checkout, loop checks, and first-article functional tests in person, documenting results for handoff.
  • •Provide real-time controls support by answering controls RFIs same-day from the floor and engineering fixes into the next revision.
  • •Feed line learnings back into wiring diagrams, logic, and the BOM so the same defect never ships twice.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 164,000 - 206,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience engineering or commissioning controls systems such as PLCs, BMS, or industrial automation for data center environments.
  • •Experience performing point-to-point checkout and loop checks on real panels at volume (not only reviewed on paper).
  • •Familiarity with shop-floor or production-line work, including dispositioning nonconformances in the moment.
  • •Experience supporting production launches or startups of systems you helped build and staying until they ran.
  • •Ability to write and validate controls logic on cabinets and quickly isolate configuration/control conflicts while keeping the line moving.
