Job Summary

Build and operate agentic capabilities on top of a petabyte-scale observability platform. You’ll design and implement AI agents that investigate incidents, create reusable skills, and run the agent stack end-to-end, focusing on DX, latency, cost, and production reliability within ClickStack.

Key Responsibilities

•Build agents that investigate incidents and surface anomalies using ClickStack as the substrate.
•Write skills and develop a library of reusable, production-ready playbooks for debugging, root-cause analysis, and incident response.
•Own the agent stack end-to-end including context engineering, tool design, evaluations, tracing, and cost management.
•Develop MCP servers, SDKs, and integrations to enable customers’ agents to read telemetry, take action, and stay observable.
•Work in the open by collaborating with OSS contributors and customers, debugging problems together, and feeding learnings back into the product.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of software engineering experience, including 1–2 years on LLM-powered systems or agents in production.
•Strong backend skills in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python, with comfort in both.
•Hands-on experience building agents: multi-step tool use, planning, memory, error recovery.
•Experience designing skills (Markdown-based workflow encodings) and evaluating when a skill/tool is the right fit.
•Experience with MCP: building servers, designing tools, and observability for agentic systems.
