  • •Contribute to system architecture and define interfaces between the chassis and higher-level actuation, power, compute, and control systems.
  • •Drive system integration across mechanical structure, power distribution, wiring/harness, and thermal subsystems; partner with mechanical, electrical, controls, AI, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
  • •Create and execute V&V plans and test protocols (structural load, fatigue/life, thermal characterization, vibration and shock testing) and establish performance benchmarks.
  • •Coordinate prototype builds, design reviews, supplier qualification for structural components, and root-cause failure analysis with corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in complex robotics or autonomous systems and contributing to system-level architecture and integration.
  • •Experience designing and integrating complex structural, mechanical, and electrical systems for dynamic robotics applications.
  • •Strong knowledge of structural mechanics (FEA, stress and fatigue analysis), materials selection, GD&T, and DFM/DFA for production hardware.
  • •Experience integrating actuators/gearboxes/drivetrains into a structural chassis, including mounting, load transfer, alignment, and tolerancing.
