Key Responsibilities

  • •Discover yield issues in NAND development and define metrics/metric combinations to quantify problems.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams (process, process integration, yield, failure analysis, product engineering, design, layout) to define yield/cell/CMOS/qual/reliability issues and derive improvement actions.
  • •Conduct deep dive statistical analysis of inline, probe, cell, and other critical metrics to enable early inline detection and improve yield, quality, and reliability.
  • •Quantify and track issue impact (hit rate, line impact, gap to program goal) and model improvement/drawback based on process/probe changes; initiate data mining/correlation studies and PFA requests.
  • •Develop/continuously refine inline detection and parametric/probe binning for new fail modes; automate data extraction via query languages and scripting to improve efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Material Science.
  • •5–7 years of experience in FA, yield analysis, or yield enhancement.
  • •Discover NAND yield issues and identify relevant metrics or metric combinations (e.g., wafer/dice/tile shading, ECATS/custom metrics) for issues quantification.
  • •Fluency in Python, JavaScript, C or C++.
  • •Deep understanding of probe failure mechanisms; electrical bench data collection is desirable.
