Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide existing and potential customers with superior, consistent cargo service, including rates, bookings, connections, and regulatory enquiries.
  • •Monitor and oversee GHA service and ensure it aligns with EK standards, including load control and safety.
  • •Monitor import cargo receipt and breakdown, resolve related issues, and prepare and verify accurate cargo documentation.
  • •Update flight handling reports by identifying and monitoring irregularities and discrepancies; dispatch post-flight information to the correct departments.
  • •Receive and process cargo telephone reservations, resolve cargo customer queries/complaints/claims, and complete administrative reporting while supporting Cargo Agents.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to at least GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • •Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Airline / Cargo Operations environment, including at least 2 years as a Cargo Agent (or equivalent).
  • •Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations and ideally hold a DG certificate.
  • •Knowledge of Weight & Balance procedures and Live Animal Regulation.
  • •Fluency in English and the language of the country you are working is essential; legal right to live and work in Egypt.
