Key Responsibilities

•Apply engineering concepts on gas/steam turbine and motor-driven projects, including control products and engineering drawings throughout the project lifecycle with a cost optimization mindset.
•Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans while working with cross-functional, cross-discipline teams.
•Design unit control panels to customer specifications, agreed deviations, country regulations, and internal design guidelines; mentor/coaching support for others.
•Select BOM (Bill of Material) for PLC and other control panel components, and prepare purchase specifications while aligning with material and engineering suppliers.
•Create and deliver engineering drawings and documentation (control panel layouts, network architecture, wiring diagrams, I/O lists, functional descriptions/specifications, cause and effect, logic diagrams) and support FAT/validation with customers.

Key Requirements

•Have a BE/B.Tech or ME/MTech in Instrumentation & Controls, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
•At least 8 years of work experience in control systems design and operation/maintenance in the power or oil & gas industry.
•Experience with control panel design and exposure to PLC/DCS, including turbomachinery equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, and generators.
•Ability to travel domestically/internationally for KOM, design reviews, HAZOP, and FAT as required.
•Good team player with strong communication skills and fluency in English.
