Job Summary

Build customer relationships using a consultative sales approach to identify and meet retail consumer and small business financial needs. This role combines lobby/branch customer engagement with tele-consulting and teller transaction processing, while cross-selling and setting appointments using approved marketing tools. You’ll work with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment), refer customers for holistic solutions, and meet customer experience and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities, including presentations and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and support retail product opening/servicing, including participating in consumer loan and bankcard processes from application through closing.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 43,680 - 69,900 annually

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to established customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
