Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop cabin suspension and mounts, including component and assembly design based on specified concepts.
  • •Create assembly concepts and requirement specification contributions, aligned to cost, quality, weight, and deadlines.
  • •Plan and coordinate component/assembly development work with internal specialist units and external companies.
  • •Manage development projects in own responsibility by structuring work steps, creating schedules/budgets, and monitoring execution.
  • •Plan, evaluate, and document testing/trials, support release decisions, and resolve design issues during development, production, and field use.

Key Requirements

  • •4–10 years of experience designing and developing cabin suspension and mounts for commercial vehicles or passenger cars from OEMs or Tier1s.
  • •Engineering degree (4 years).
  • •Hands-on proficiency in UG NX for surface and solid modeling, including 2D drawings preparation and GD&T/tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • •Knowledge of design methods and tools such as DFMEA, DVP, DFM, and DFA, plus prototyping methodologies.
  • •Knowledge of validation methodology, regulatory/CMVR/homologation requirements, and manufacturing processes (rubber/casting/forging/stamping).
