Key Responsibilities

  • •Own NerdWallet’s owned-channel strategy end to end, including email, push notifications, newsletters, and emerging channels, and define a cohesive customer experience across channels.
  • •Build and scale engagement infrastructure including data architecture, segmentation, personalization, and automation capabilities to enable relevant communication at scale.
  • •Drive measurable growth in customer acquisition, retention, and engagement through the owned ecosystem, partnering with GMs and data to tie strategies to business objectives.
  • •Establish measures of success, build the operating rhythm, and own outcomes across the customer growth mandate.
  • •Lead new product go-to-market strategy for NerdWallet-branded financial products by shaping launch strategy, customer messaging, and adoption programs starting with NerdWallet Savings.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of progressive leadership experience across growth, marketing, customer engagement, data, or related disciplines, including senior leadership experience in consumer fintech or financial services.
  • •Deep expertise in owned-channel strategy across email, push, content, and direct customer channels, plus the data, segmentation, personalization, and automation infrastructure to scale performance.
  • •Proven track record improving customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value through multi-channel programs.
  • •Experience operating with GM-level accountability, either via P&L ownership or close partnership with product and business leaders on go-to-market strategy for new products.
  • •Strong analytical foundation and ability to apply AI and automation to customer engagement at scale with judgment for where human connection matters.
