Key Responsibilities

  • •Process payroll and related tasks, including a variety of payroll-related responsibilities.
  • •Calculate employees’ pay and entitlements in line with the collective agreement.
  • •Perform payroll-related cost analyses and reporting.
  • •Provide information to employees and managers about payroll topics.
  • •Maintain and develop payroll processing procedures, including covering the payroll services lead when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Education that applies to the role (e.g., business studies or accounting) or equivalent experience and knowledge from a comparable position.
  • •Knowledge and experience in payroll processing or finance is an advantage.
  • •Knowledge of time tracking systems and payroll systems is an advantage.
  • •Good data processing skills and proficiency in Excel are desirable.
  • •Strong accuracy, organization, independence, and communication skills; ability to work well with others and communicate in Icelandic and English.
