Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates for projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • •Control and manage the estimating process at project level.
  • •Produce estimates without management or supervision.
  • •Work as part of a team or as an individual with limited supervision.
  • •Support estimating best practice development and represent Turner & Townsend with clients, aligning advice to business objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
  • •Wide and varied experience of construction projects.
  • •Experience with estimating methodology such as Parametric, Unit Rate, and Benchmarking.
  • •Proven experience providing estimating and/or QS services in a large project environment.
  • •Desirable: chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS/CIOB) and estimating software experience (CANDY, Causeway, CostX, COSTOS).
